Rather than competing for places through the clearing process,
students who just missed out on their grades can join the one-year
Diploma which leads to the second year of degree programmes at
leading INTO partner universities such
as the University of East Anglia, the University of Exeter and
Newcastle University.
The Diploma is equivalent to the first year of a degree,
enabling students to complete their university course in the
standard three years rather than defferring or taking further
bridging courses. Because the course guarantees progression to INTO
partners upon successful completion, it can also help students gain
places at better universites than may have been possible through
clearing.
INTO has also been promoting its brand new INTO St George's,
University of London (SGUL) foundation over the last few months, a
first-of-its-kind course offering progression to the highly
regarded medicine degrees St George's, University of London.
International students who achieved at least ABB at A-level were
able apply.
