During the six-day programme, agent representatives were briefed
on INTO's recent developments, including progress on its new
university partnerships infrastructural projects and academic
programme development. The programme provided an excellent platform
to strengthen information exchange and case sharing concerning
international student recruitment in the UK. In addition, agents
were invited to campus visits hosted by Queen's University Belfast,
INTO's most recent university partner, as well as City University
London, to better understand from the university representatives
the campus facilities, academic programmes and student experiences
being offered.
The familiarisation tour was attended by agent representatives
from China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia, Japan, Korea, Russia,
Pakistan, Turkey, Gambia, Vietnam, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and the
UK. Agent representatives remarked that these visits would help to
maintain the market competitiveness of international student
servicing, and facilitate communication with university
partners.
