INTO CENTERS

INTO University of South Florida

 
 
Exciting new opportunities for the partnership.

INTO's second university partnership with the University of South Florida launched in 2010. The venture is helping USF capitalize on the growing number of international students choosing Florida as a study destination while creating jobs and economic opportunities for both the University and the Tampa Bay region.

INTO USF welcomed its first class of 460+ students from 36 countries in Fall 2010, exceeding enrollment targets by 39%. The center's Spring term enrollment increased to 500+ students from 41 countries, surpassing enrollment goals by 64%.

Students have experienced great academic success in INTO USF programs, with 93% of Accelerated Pathway students meeting progression requirements, and 92% of those students choosing to matriculate as degree-seeking students at the university.

INTO's second US center continues to exceed expectations 

  • Established in 2010.
  • 31 teaching staff.
  • Fall 2010 cohort included more than 450 students from 36 countries, exceeding enrollment goals by 39%.  Spring 2011 cohort increased to 500+ students from 41 countries, surpassing enrollment targets by 64%.
  • 93% of Fall 2010 Accelerated Pathway students met progression requirements and 92% enrolled in degree programs at USF.
  • The INTO USF center is a newly-renovated facility in the heart of campus, just steps from other resources, amenities and services for students.

Dedicated space for success 

Opened in 2010 and located in the heart of the USF Tampa campus, the INTO USF center features an outdoor courtyard, six technology-enhanced classrooms, administrative offices, community space and an inviting social atmosphere. INTO USF also has dedicated space within the College of Business that provides INTO students with access to another nine technology-enhanced classrooms, a library, a learning center, and computer lab. Both INTO USF facilities are within close reach of all other campus resources and amenities.

 
 
 

The academic pathway and English language programs at INTO USF are designed and delivered by the University. Current offerings at INTO USF include:

 

Undergraduate Pathways

  • Pathways available in Business; Computing; Engineering; Science; and General
  • Pathways last one semester or one year
  • Leads to undergraduate-level study in various disciplines at the University

 

Graduate Pathways

  • Pathways available in Business (5 fields); Engineering (9 fields); Architecture; Biology; Economics; Global Sustainability; Library and Information Science; Mathematics; Medical Sciences; and Urban and Community Design
  • Pathways last one semester or one year
  • Leads to graduate-level study in relevant disciplines at the University
