Dongbei University of Finance and Economics


Established in 1952, Dongbei University of Finance and Economics is a thriving academic hub, home to more than 20,000 students. As one of the top schools in its field in China, many of its graduates occupy high-level positions in government and industries, especially in the banking and finance sectors.

DUFE is a multidisciplinary, teaching-and-research-oriented university focusing on economics, management, law, arts, and science. It offers over 145 degree programmes at undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD level

The university's main campus is located in Dalian in North East China. Voted China's most livable city, Dalian is a vibrant coastal city home to many top international companies including Microsoft, Nokia HP, IBM and Intel. A popular tourist attraction, it boasts a mild climate and beautiful beaches.

DUFE attracts highly qualified students from across China, as well as from 30 countries around the world. The high calibre of the students is reflected in the graduate employment rate of 95%, far above the national average.

As well as being a centre of academic excellence, DUFE also prides itself on its outstanding achievements in student athletics and collegiate sports. As a national base for collegiate sports development, DUFE has particular strengths in men's football and basketball. DUFE graduates include both athletes and coaches of Olympic gold medalists as well as world champions, record holders and many national champions.
