Excellence in the student experience demands excellence in service delivery. Together with INTO we set about ensuring that all the University's students benefit from the partnership.

Student success and progression defines the proposition established through our partnership.

'After two full academic years, Newcastle University calculates the contribution of the partnership to international student income to be in excess of £6 million.'
Professor Tony Stevenson
Pro-Vice Chancellor Planning and Resources, Newcastle University

'The partnership has underpinned a range of jobs within the academic faculties and it’s also created large numbers of jobs within the INTO centre itself. When we first handed over the language centre to INTO, there were 27 staff and there’s now roughly a 100 INTO staff in the centre. INTO has brought real relevance and experience in marketing and recruitment and in the area of digital marketing too, showing what you can do by joining up all the different parts of the University.'
Professor Tony Stevenson
Pro-Vice Chancellor, Planning and Resources, Newcastle University

Access to every major international student market has been afforded the University through one of the world's largest higher education marketing networks.

'The INTO Partnership has helped Newcastle University out on its internationalization strategy by introducing roughly between 800 and 900 extra international students a year to the campus.'
Professor Tony Stevenson
Pro-Vice Chancellor, Planning and Resources, Newcastle University
