We are looking for a 1st Line IT Support Technicians to join a busy support team based in Brighton. The 1st Line Support will deal directly with the staff at INTO in the UK and around the globe to resolve IT issues, and escalating to 2nd Line Support when required. Additionally, the requires the day to day administration of the helpdesk ticketing system, ensuring that tickets are dealt with in a timely manner, and also creating all user accounts in Active Directory and across various systems.
The role will include some significant on the job training, and would suit an individual who is very keen to learn with a very keen interest in IT.
In terms of skills, the 1st Line Support should have experience of working within a helpdesk/Service Desk environment as part of a team, and experience with Windows, Mac OS, Active Directory, Desktop Support. In addition, the role will require new equipment imaging, installation and mobile device support. It would be advantageous to also have a basic understanding of networks and network protocols.
The department provides support between the hours of 08:00 – 18:00, and the working hours for the role are 7.5 hours per day; we operate a rota to ensure support is covered during the 08:00 – 18:00 period.
